Formulation & Philosophy

At Yukari, Hojicha represents release and rest — an extension of our IN/OUT philosophy, where wellness includes moments of stillness. This tea is sourced from
growers who respect the land and its rhythm. No enhancements. Just leaves, fire, and intention — turned into warmth in a cup.

Technical Details

  • Type: Roasted green tea (Hojicha, loose leaf)
  • Origin: Aichi Prefecture, Japan
  • Tasting Notes: Warm, toasty aroma with soft notes of caramel and wood, smooth finish
  • Use: Infuse 2g (1 tsp) in 200ml of water at 90–95°C. Let steep for 30–60 seconds, then savour plain — excellent warm or iced.
  • Storage Tip: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Once opened, reseal tightly or store in an airtight container. Refrigeration recommended to preserve freshness.
