What is it

From the volcanic landscapes of Kagoshima comes our JAS Organic Sencha from Kagoshima — a masterpiece of Japan’s southern tea country. In this lush, sun-kissed region, fertile soils and gentle coastal mists nurture leaves of extraordinary vitality. Harvested in the first flush of spring, each leaf is briefly shaded to deepen its sweetness, then lightly asamushi steamed to capture its vivid green hue and delicate aroma. The result is a Japanese Sencha Green Tea of rare elegance — a pure expression of Premium Japanese Green Tea craftsmanship, created for moments of stillness and everyday grace.

Key Benefits

  • Naturally high in antioxidants and amino acids
  • From certified organic farms in southern Japan
  • No additives or artificial flavourings
  • Ideal for daily rituals of clarity and presence
  • Plant-based and gluten-free

From Kagoshima’s volcanic highlands comes our JAS Organic Sencha — a tea of exceptional purity and poise.
Nurtured by mineral-rich soil and mist-laden coastal breezes, each leaf carries the vitality of its origin. The gentle asamushi steaming reveals a luminous green liquor, preserving its natural sweetness and silken texture. At Yukari, we select this rare Sencha for its elegance, freshness, and its gift of turning each cup into a serene, mindful ritual.

Formulation & Philosophy

From Kagoshima, Where Tea Meets Volcano and Sea

On the southernmost tip of Japan’s main islands, Kagoshima Prefecture offers a unique tea-growing environment — where mineral-rich volcanic soil and coastal mists shape the flavour of every leaf.

Amid rolling hills and nourished by pure spring water, our sencha is carefully grown, harvested, and steamed to preserve its integrity. The result is a tea as vibrant as the land it comes from.

At Yukari, we honour this region’s quiet power — bringing you organic sencha cultivated with respect, care, and harmony.
