Our Story
Yukari was founded by Giovanni and Ayuri — a couple united by purpose, culture, and a deep belief in the power of ritual. Their story began in Australia, during a period of personal hardship. Giovanni faced a serious health decline brought on by stress and emotional exhaustion, and traditional solutions offered little relief.
It was Ayuri’s quiet care, shaped by the gentle wisdom of Japanese culture, that slowly guided him back to balance. Through nourishing meals, calming skincare, and small daily rituals, the healing process began. What started as a private path to recovery gradually became their shared vision.
Together, they created Yukari to offer others what had transformed their lives: a return to stillness, intention, and connection.
In Japanese, Yukari 縁 (en) means a meaningful connection that brings people, places, and moments together. They believe each discovery of Yukari is part of that bond — meant to be shared.

Yukari started with us. A moment in our lives when everything felt out of balance — and we had to find a new way forward.
It wasn’t dramatic. It was quiet.
Step by step, we returned to health through the things that truly matter: nourishing food, deep rest, gentle skincare, and daily rituals that helped us breathe again.
We created Yukari to share that simplicity.
Not as a cure, but as a quiet form of prevention — a way to care for yourself before your body asks you to.

This is our way of honoring the Japanese principle of mibyō (未病) — caring for the body before symptoms appear, and living with awareness before imbalance begins.
